Nothing says Fourth of July like town parades, family picnics, good wine, cold beer and of course fireworks. Listed below are some of the activities in Napa County to help you celebrate the Fourth of July.
Vintner’s Golf Course
Come up to Yountville for the best fireworks show in Napa Valley! Come early to get your spot on the 9th green at Vintner’s Golf Course.
Boys & Girls Club
7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Come on by and enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast before all the festivities begin! Hosted by Boy Scouts Troop 7062, the cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children, or $20 for family (no limit on the number of people in your family).
Celebrating America’s Heroes Patriotic Parade
This year our theme is Celebrating America’s Heroes. The parade will start at the corner of Elliott Drive and Kimberly Drive, and will end at Community Park II (20 Benton Way). American Canyon looks forward to awarding unique and festive entries in the following categories: 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, Best Dance Group, and Best Classic Car.
Fourth of July Celebration & Festival
Community Park II
12:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m
This family-friendly festival includes a flag raising ceremony, children’s games, food vendors, live entertainment, and more! The Phillip West Aquatic Center will also hold Open Swim from 1:15pm – 4pm.
Newell Open Space Preserve
The American Canyon Community & Parks Foundation will host their 4th Annual Fireworks Hike again this year! Meet at 8pm at the Newell Open Space Trailhead located on the corner of Newell Drive and Donaldson Way East. Participants will hike about 1/2 mile into a great viewing spot just past the gate and set up chairs and blankets. Enjoy hot chocolate and snacks while you wait for the sky to darken. From this higher elevation participants will be able to see fireworks from American Canyon, Vallejo, Crockett, and even Marin! Bring a flashlight, bug spray, warm clothes, chairs or blankets, water, and your camera.
Community Park II
Come on by Community Park II for the best fireworks show around! Arrive early to reserve your spot. Bring blankets or chairs and your coats to stay warm and cozy during the show!
Napa 4th of July Parade
The Napa Sunrise Rotary Club is proud to host the annual Napa 4th of July Parade in historic downtown Napa on Thursday, July 4, 2019 at 10am! The theme for the parade this year is “Celebrating the American Dream.” Join in for a fun, patriotic and family-friendly parade celebrating Independence Day and the community!
Napa Lights Event
5:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

5:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.: Kid Zone
5:00 p.m. – 5:40 p.m.: Kenya B Trio
6:00 p.m. – 6:45 p.m.: Afro-Cuban Jazz Cartel
7:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.: Salute to USA (including welcome from the the Mayor, thank you to sponsors, presentation of color by Travis Air Force, National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance, flag ceremony with Supervisor Wagenknecht)
7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.: Tom Rigney and Flambeau
Fireworks will take place at 9:30 p.m. in Downtown Napa. The best places to watch will be from Veteran’s Park, Oxbow Commons or the Riverfront Promenade.
Bike Parade and Community Band Concert
Join St. Helena for the 2nd annual Fourth of July BIke Parade. St. Helena Parks and Rec encourages visitors and locals to enjoy the day of celebrations by bike and foot. Start the evening in town by decorating your bike and joining in for the festive bike parade down Hunt Avenue at 4:00 p.m. The Bike Parade will end at Lyman Park and you can enjoy St. Helena Community Bnad’s concert.
Concert, Food Vendors, & Firework Show
Continue your Fourth of July festivities in St. Helena with live music, kids activities, snack shake and a beer and wine garden. Come early to grab a spot for the fireworks which will start at approximately 9:15 p.m.

Celebrate! Napa Valley invites you to join in Calistoga’s annual Independence Day celebration on Wednesday, July 4th, complete with parade, carnival, food, games, music, golf ball drop, and of course, fireworks!
Kick-off the day with the annual 4th of July Parade through downtown Calistoga. Starting at 11:00 am, cheer on floats, dancers, horses, and more as they travel down Cedar Street, Lincoln Avenue, and Fair Way. Join the party and this year’s theme, Celebrate 100 years of tradition!
The gates will open at 12:00 p.m. with carnival, food and festivity. The social really gets underway at 6:00 p.m. when everyone makes their way into the grass infield to claim their picnic and fireworks viewing grounds. Bring your own picnic or grab a meal from one of the many food trucks.
Fireworks will start when it gets good and dark.
