December is a magical time to visit Yountville and the Napa Valley. Yountville is decorated with a thousand twinkling lights and holiday parties are around every corner! I have gathered some of the events around the Napa Valley that I am most looking forward too!
The Pilates Reserve

Please join Peace of Kate and The Pilates Reserve to set a solid foundation for yourself during the remainder of the holiday season. The Pilates Reserve serves as a warm and supportive space as Kate guides you through a meditation, a curated conversation to attune to self-awareness, and a visioning exercise to clarify how you want to show up for yourself and your family. This time will be for you to recalibrate and feel balanced as you flow through the rest of 2018!

Welcome the holiday season with Robert Mondavi Winery’s 8th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting and Celebration. Join Robert Mondavi for their holiday party, which includes the tree lighting celebration, horse and buggy rides through the To Kalon vineyard, wine tasting, hot apple cider, carols with the Vintage High School Chamber Singers, Italian cookies, cheese and charcuterie appetizers. New this year – Jingle Bell Jazz in the To Kalon Reserve Room! Admission is $25 per person. Complimentary admission for Wine Club Members and children under 12, and attendees who bring a food donation for the Napa Valley Food Bank. Advance reservations are not required.

Mark your calendar and plan to attend the Hess Collection Holiday Open House and Toy Drive on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The Visitors Center will be dressed in its beautiful finery, and Executive Chef Chad Hendrickson is planning some new holiday treats to pair with a full selection of the new releases and traditional favorites. As always, Hess will have a bit of music, a raffle and gift shopping, with special gift features including an array of large formats. Please bring an unwrapped toy for the toy drive.

Soprano Marnie Breckenridge returns in a performance with Symphony Napa Valley, under the direction of Michael Guttman, to offer a selection of holiday favorites by Bach, Vivaldi and Handel. This exciting program features the Messiah, one of the most magnificent achievements in the classical canon of music. The perfection of this composition is a truly moving, emotional and resonant experience.

Also included are Ave Maria and O Holy Night, beloved holiday favorites for music lovers everywhere. The concert concludes with a rousing sing-along of favorite Christmas carols where you can join in the festivities!
