KILL BILL SAX SOLO ACOUSTIC

Raised in Anchorage, Alaska from the age of 3, Bill began playing the saxophone in grade school, and decided to never stop. After graduating from Indiana University, Bill moved to Atlanta, where he sat in at local jam sessions, eventually picking up a touring gig as member of the Platinum Soul Band with the Universoul Circus. Bill then moved to NYC, where he became a fixture on the village r&b scene. While sitting in with The Black Soul Experience at Manhattan’s Club Groove, frontman Antwon Robinson shouted impromptu “Kill Bill!,” and the name stuck. 

In 2017, Bill joined the B.B. King’s All-Stars Band, touring the Caribbean and Central America aboard Holland America cruise line. He has opened for Gerald Albright & Regina Belle, Al B. Sure!, Keith Washington, Peter White & Josh Vietti, and Ace Metaphor.

BARDESSONO LATKE THROWDOWN

Bardessono is excited to host its second annual Latke Throw Down. In preparation for a festive holiday season, Bardessono’s very own Executive Chef – Jim Leiken is hosting and also competing in the latke making competition at the Yountville Community Center. Kicking off the holiday season on Thursday, Dec. 15th from 5-6 pm, guests are invited to observe and taste the latke creations from a competitive set of contenders, who most around town will recognize.

The judges determining who has created the best tasting latkes will be announced as the dates approach. Kindly RSVP by emailing events@bardessono.com. Following the event, the dinner menu at Lucy Restaurant & Bar will include a latke special.

All proceeds from Latke Throw Down will go to ParentsCAN, a non-profit organization that works to meet the unique needs of families of children with special needs in Napa County.
