From November 20, 2022, through January 1, 2023, the Town of Yountville becomes the “Brightest Town in the Napa Valley” during Holidays in Yountville, six-plus weeks of holiday-related events, activities and shopping in the heart of the Napa Valley.  An annual tradition, Holidays in Yountville offers the best and brightest cheer in Northern California’s Wine Country.

,A stroll through Yountville is one of life’s little delights.  There are many beautiful times of year to take in all Yountville has to offer, but none quite a magical as Holidays in Yountville!  Take a stroll (the town itself is 1.5 miles long) this holiday season and take in some of the most festive stops along the way!

Start your visit at the Yountville Welcome Center, where friendly locals share their favorite places to dine, toast and stroll.  The Yountville Welcome Center is open Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 4;00 p.m and Saturday & Sunday, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.  The Welcome Center is located at 6484 Washington Street.  If you happen to stop in town outside these hours, be sure to visit the Virtual Welcome Center!

PRIEST RANCH WINE

After chatting with the team at The Yountville Welcome Center, head North a few steps to Priest Ranch Wine.  Inside you will find their awe inspiring Christmas tree, certain to boost your holiday spirit.  In addition, the red Priest Ranch Tractor is back for all your holiday photo shoots!  Grab a friend, your family, and your pets! They have created the perfect holiday backdrop for you right in the heart of Yountville. As an added bonus, share your photo and tag @priestranchwine for a complementary splash of wine while you are there!

JCB TASTING SALON

Continue North, heading towards JCB Tasting Salon.  On the way, stop by Montecristi Panama Hats to do a little holiday shopping!  Their selection of goods is sure to please even the hardest to shop for on your list.  As you continue to stroll, be sure to enjoy the festive holiday windows at The Ranch Market Too, our local grocery store which has been suppling the community and visitors of Napa Valley with locally sourced speciality items since 1976.

As you enter JCB Tasting Salon, your eyes will feast on all things beautiful and sparkly!  This is the standard view in JCB, but they step up the joy and bling for the holiday season.  Peruse their tasting flights, stay awhile and enjoy all the holiday joy they have to offer.

YOUNTVILLE COMMUNITY CENTER PLAZA

Once you have wrapped up with the festive and bubbly cheer at the JCB Tasting Salon, head across the street to the Yountville Community Center Plaza.  Here you can view the town tree, which was lit at the Annual Tree Lighting on November 20.  The celebration had amazing performances by Transendence Theatre Company and a special guest appearance by Santa.  Be sure to watch the livestream playback HERE!

While in the plaza you can enjoy the festive Santa’s Village, featuring painted cut outs of beloved holiday characters created by students at the Boys & Girls Club of Napa Valley.  P.S. NORTH BLOCK HOTEL

Continue your stroll to NOYO (North Yountville) being sure to stop along the way to enjoy The Yountville Art Walk!  Keep in mind that many of the pieces you see on the Art Walk are for sale if you are looking for a truly unique and spectacular holiday gift.  Your next festive stop is the North Block Hotel.  Time your visit to coincide with their Oyster Hour! Craveable cocktails, dollar oysters and seasonal sourdough pizzas await daily from 4pm to 6pm.  Book your reservation at North Block Restaurant!   Then be sure to take in their marvelous holiday decor!

MERRYVALE

While there is plenty of holiday magic to be seen in Yountville, there are two additional stops you must not miss!  The first, located in St. Helena is Merryvale.  Their historic cask room takes on a whole new level of wonder this time of year!  Two stories of century-old 2,000-gallon casks line the stone walls and create an unforgettable ambience. The Cask Room’s large yet welcoming size is perfect for corporate events, private social events, and wedding receptions.

THE GEORGE

Your final must see stop is The George, a historic inn and Napa’s newest boutique hotel.  The George is spectacular any time of year, but adding the twinkle of Christmas lights brings this gem to a whole other level! Peer through the window at their grand Christmas tree during the daylight hours, but be sure to stop by again in the evening, when the glow from the tree in the front window is sure to fill your heart with holiday cheer!
