Every season is a great season to visit Yountville CA and the Napa Valley but Fall is my favorite. The weather cools off, the nights get longer and the wine just tastes better! Below are a few of my favorite things to do in Yountville during the Fall.
Heron House Yountville
Heron House Yountville is the newest tasting room in Yountville CA and is located right behind the Yountville Welcome Center! Enjoy a flight of wine from a variety of Napa Valley producers and don’t forget to take a photo with George, the pumpkin scarecrow!
Mini Model
As the weather gets colder your morning cup of coffee becomes even more important! I love to stop by Mini Model for my morning cup of joe. Enjoy one of their season drinks, like the lavender honey black tea latte, or stick with a classic such as an americano.
Handwritten
Handwritten has combined two of my favorite things. Wine and Butter. Book their Bread and Butter tasting and experience how truly decadent life can be. You can enjoy your tasting outside or inside their beautiful tasting space.
The French Laundry Gardens
If you are lucky enough to get a reservation at the famous French Laundry you are in for a meal you will never forget. If you don’t get a reservation that’s ok! Across the street is the French Laundry Garden. Open the public you can wander around and see the fall harvest and don’t forget to say hi to the chickens!
Hestan Vineyards
Located directly across the street from Vintage House, Hestan Vineyards is a great place to stock up on your holiday wines. Enjoy a flight of world class wine and browse the impressive collection of Hestan Cookware!
Napa Valley Aloft
The Napa Valley is full of beautiful changing vines during the Fall and what better way to enjoy them than from the sky? Book a hot air balloon at Napa Valley Aloft for a truly unique wine country experience.
The Yountville Art Walk
The Yountville Art Walk is great any time of the year but the morning light during the Fall can make for some pretty epic wine country photos. My favorites to photograph in the Fall are The Side Walk Judge and Leaving Leonardo.
