On April 1, 2023, Grgich Hills Estate will kick off the celebrations of Mike’s 100th birthday with the release of two highly collectible Centennial Celebration wines: the 2020 Paris Tasting Commemorative Chardonnay and the 2019 Yountville Old Vine Cabernet Sauvignon, presented with a special event hosted by Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson at the winery in Rutherford. Come enjoy delicious foods, library wines, and entertainment.

Mike will be joining the in-event virtually via YouTube Live from his private birthday party at La Quinta. Many of Grgich Hills’ retail and distributor partners will also join via live stream

Enjoy walking tours discussing plant and insect diversity, an inside view of ongoing research about using birds to manage pest issues, how to encourage native bee populations, cover crops and their contribution to soil health, how Grgich Hills Estate has become a monarch butterfly way station, and insights into the latest regenerative farming research. This is a family friendly educational event; children are welcome, and lunch will be provided. There will also be fun hands on activities for the kids! Generations Master Class in the Grove: We invite you to join us in celebration of our annual release of Generations with an exceptional and selective tasting led by Master of Wine Clare Tooley and Stephanie Putnam, Vice President of Winemaking at Raymond Vineyards. This elevated and curated experience will allow you to taste through library and large format selections of our Generation wine and learn about the style and uniqueness that differentiates them.

This event includes entrance to our magical and celebratory Generations Release party featuring additional vintages of Generations wine, delectable wood-fired pizza, and live music.  $150 per person.  11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
