4th Annual Yountville Int’l Short Film Festival

“Special. Home. Edition.”

Offers Virtual Viewing February 11 – 15, 2021

The 4th Annual Yountville Int’l Short Film Festival (YISFF) will be held virtually from February 11 – 15, 2021, offering 16 dedicated screening blocks, special musical guests, and filmmaker Q&A sessions. For the first time in its history, the Yountville International Short Film Festival will be a completely virtual affair, yet with the ability to pair the best in short films along with Napa Valley wines, watch live introductions (shot on location in Yountville), and much more.

Sponsored by the Town of Yountville and its world-class lodging establishments and inspired by the annual Jessup Cellars Art House Short Film Series (Jan – March), the YISFF features an incredible lineup of imagination-stretching short films from across the globe, shown over four days

With 16 dedicated screening blocks, from animation and suspense to fantasy and science fiction, to the best in drama and foreign film selections, the 4th annual festival will deliver many special cinematic moments. New to 2021, the event will present special musical guests throughout the festival, along with filmmaker Q&A sessions that will offer behind the scene stories of the filmmaking process after many of the film blocks.

“We are excited to present the best in short form filmmaking. Whether you are a fan of foreign films, science fiction or you are just looking for the best film to pair with your Napa Valley Cabernet, we have a tremendous lineup for 2021,” stated Festival Director Bill Hargreaves. “While we will be unable to be together in person this year, we are excited with the opportunity to increase our ability to deliver world-class short films directly to our patrons’ homes, via phone, tablet or computer. This includes streaming our films via Apple TV or Chromecast devices.”

Passes are now on sale, beginning at $15 for individual film blocks to $49 for the All-Access Pass (one per household, including access to every film block that screens over the four-days. In addition, All-Access Pass Holders will also enjoy a special bonus day of screening with on-demand access to all our film blocks on Monday, February 15, following the festival weekend.

Finally, while enjoying the films in the comfort of home, patrons can opt for the exclusive VIP Cinema Experience package that perfectly pairs film selections with wines selected and delivered straight to each VIP home. VIP Cinema Experience packages amazing wine from participating wineries and an All-Access Pass (one per household) bonus day-of on-demand screenings, and a YISFF bottle opener and popcorn.

“While we wish we could host everyone in Yountville this year, the Yountville business community is very happy to continue to support the annual YISFF,” said Chamber President & CEO Whitney Diver McEvoy. “This unique and enjoyable festival has the potential to reach even more film enthusiasts by going virtual in 2021, while we look forward to seeing you here again to experience all that Yountville is known for – compelling art, culinary excellence, world-renowned wine, all presented in an intimate and friendly setting.”
