Yountville, Calif. is considered the “Culinary Capital” of the Napa Valley. The town is home to many fine dining establishments that have earned Yountville shining stars on the culinary map of America.

In conjunction with Napa Valley Restaurant Week, Yountville Restaurant Week allows locals and visitors to dine and delight throughout the town and experience our legendary food and wine culture January 20-27, 2019.

Through multi-course prix-fixe menus for lunch ($20) and dinner ($36 or $46), guests can try out the latest culinary hot-spots or revisit old favorites all week long.

Daily, visitors journey to Yountville for artisanal, farm-to-table meals at restaurants that have rendered even the toughest food critics to melt like butter. It’s a destination to expand and explore your culinary palate. Dine in Yountville and feel like you’ve taken a journey across the globe in a single bite.

Come warm yourself by the crackling fire at V. Sattui with a flight of our award-winning Cabernet Sauvignons and a slowly-stewed bowl of Coq au Vin with Porcini-Parmesan Polenta. Hosted by Wine & Food Expert, Marc Golick, this Cabernet Season pairing event will highlight V. Sattui’s 90+ Point Napa Valley Cabernets, including older vintages, and demonstrate their versatility with this decadent French dish. Recipe card included.

Jessup Cellars

In conjunction with the producers of the San Jose and Yountville Intl Short Film Festivals, Jessup Cellars presents a series of short film and wine pairing screenings at their tasting gallery.

Running monthly January through April, each gathering features four award-winning shorts each paired with a Jessup Cellars wine and flavor-infused popcorn by Chef Mike C.

From comedy to drama to documentaries to animation, Jessup Cellars takes guests on an emotional and inspirational ride through the cinematic and culinary arts. The screenings are followed by meet-and-greets with filmmakers and the opportunity to purchase wines in support of indie short film projects.

For the 14th consecutive year, Napa High School’s a cappella group, Vocal Music Workshop, is proud to host the ever popular, high-energy concert, the “A CAPPELLA EXTRAVAGANZA!” Get your tickets early! This event sells out early every year!

This concert boasts a one-of-a-kind lineup of high school and collegiate professional groups. The “Stanford Fleet Street Singers,” The Liquid Hotplates (UC Davis)and The Vermillion Vocalist (UC Irvine) also appearing are PDA (American Canyon H.S.) and Vocalettes and VoiceMale (Vintage H.S.)

Headlining this year’s concert are winners of the Moscow International A Cappella Championship, Six Appeal.

January’s installment of Handwritten’s 2019 Sommelier Series season opens with a Napa/Sonoma Summit of north coast terroir. Director of Handwritten Wines, Philip O’Conor, will take guests on an exploration of flavors in a comparative tasting of some of Sonoma County’s great wines tasted alongside Handwritten Wines!

This gathering of neighborhood wines will be paired with regional cheeses and bites sourced from and inspired by California’s north coast winter harvest.
