With Halloween past and Thanksgiving around the corner it is easy to start dreaming about the most wonderful time of the year. Christmas lights, carriage rides, gingerbread houses, hot chocolate and pictures with Santa are just some of the fun things that dance in your head during the Holiday Season. We’ll be decking the halls beginning November 20th with all the best during “Holidays in Yountville: The Brightest Town in Napa Valley” through December 31, 2017.
Yountville is bringing you six weeks of holiday fun featuring a full calendar of events, activities and performances for all ages.
Holidays in Yountville will have programs for the young and young at heart. If you are looking for a romantic getaway book a special stay with Bardessono and enjoy an intimate dinner with award winning chef Michael Chiarello at his Teatro Bistecca. Chef Chiarello will transport you to a 1950’s steakhouse and immerse you in an experience more like theater than a restaurant. After dinner walk back to the LEED Platinum Certified Bardessono and relax with a bottle of one of Yountville’s famous wines and enjoy the cool winter evening next to their cozy fireplaces.
If children’s activities are what you are after head up to Yountville for a free carriage ride around town. While it doesn’t snow in our part of paradise, we’re channeling the sparkling, snowy feeling with thousands of twinkling lights that will frost Washington Street. Afterwards stroll over to Bouchon Bakery for a warm hot chocolate and sweet treat such as one of their famous seasonal macarons. You and your little elves can also head up to the Napa Valley Museum for holiday themed arts and crafts or sign up for Stewart Cellars Gingerbread Decorating contest. To cap off the evening take the trolley to the Lincoln Theater for their Holiday Movie Series.
If you’re gifting wine, stocking up for a party, searching for your next favorite wine maker or planning a family outing head over to one of our tasting rooms for a festive tasting. Book a Champagne Holiday Cocktail making class at Domaine Chandon, visit Hill Family Estate for a library tasting, Jessup Cellars for a chocolate pairing with Kollar Chocolates or stop by Silver Trident for a holiday food pairing.
Yountville will be living up to its motto of #tastelifehere by providing you many opportunities to enjoy the sights, sounds and of course the tastes of the holidays. Click here to book your stay for a visit to the Brightest Town in Napa Valley!
