Beginning February 11-12 and each subsequent weekend through March 22-23, stroll the Yountville Art Walk and find beautiful glass hearts that were individually created, signed and numbered by Napa Valley glass artist Patty Wessman. The glass hearts will be hidden playfully in plain sight at each of the Yountville Art Walk sculpture locations, as a perfect subject for social posts, friend photos (or even a proposal!) and a warm take-home reminder of a visit to Yountville – The Heart of the Napa Valley.

In addition, Yountville Arts presents the Find Your Heart in Yountville Gallery Show, running through March 24, showcasing heart-themed works in all mediums, at the Yountville Community Center located at 6516 Washington Street.

Celebrating the accomplishments of nationally recognized female artists, “Women in the Arts” is a special event speaker series that takes place quarterly in an exclusive and intimate setting at The Meritage Resort and Spa. Each event includes a featured female artist, women leaders in the wine, spirits, and beverage industries, and wine/beverage companies led by women paired with a specially curated multi-course meal.

The series’ first tea service, March 11, 2023, will feature culinary delights perfectly paired with a custom-curated selection of teas from UppercaseTea/The Sisterhood of Tea. Alison Kilmer, founder and owner of this Sonoma-based luxury tea company will share the stories behind each tea and her entrepreneurial path.  It will also feature pianist, arts innovator, and Festival Napa Valley favorite Audrey Vardanega in conversation as she shares her story and the work of Arium.live, a multimedia streaming platform she co-founded in 2020.

Proceeds from the afternoon benefit the American Canyon chapter of Soroptimist International’s college scholarships for Napa County women and girls. Soroptimist International is a worldwide volunteer service organization for women who work diligently to improve the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world.

In celebration of Women’s History Month, we invite you to meet the women chefs and winemakers who are redefining the culinary landscape. Join us for an intimate walk-around tasting reception, film screening, and Q&A hosted by CIA friend Chef Tanya Holland, featuring special guests Chef Elizabeth Falkner (Top Chef alum, Bay Area restaurateur, and filmmaker) and Jennifer Reichardt (fifth-generation Sonoma County duck farmer and owner/winemaker at Raft Wines). The afternoon begins with a screening of Chef Elizabeth Falkner’s newest film Sorry, We’re Closed, portraying how the independent restaurant industry deals with crisis and how food systems must evolve.
