The Backstory: When George Calvert Yount first saw the Napa Valley, he said, “In such a place I should love to live and die.” He settled there in 1836, and planted the first vineyard in the Valley. Today, the vineyards stretch from the Mayacamas mountains to the Napa River. Click Here to discover more about the town’s history.
